Testimony and Calling

I have always been involved in music, ever since the very early years of my life. I have always been singing and leading in worship, of something or someone. The relationships I had with people were all based on self, myself. I was lost and didn't care about anything or anyone, even my wife and children took a backseat to my music, my relationships and my life. My wife and my dad were Christians for a short while before I accepted Jesus as my Savior and they are responsible for encouraging me to come to church and get to know the people of God. After being convicted during several worship services and allowing the Holy Spirit to draw me to Him, I was saved. After being saved and growing in the Lord I felt the Lord calling me into ministry and leadership at FBC in Monroe GA, and so I answered. I have never looked back or given up on my calling from the Lord, sometimes however He leaves me to question why, where and how. I guess that's what blesses my heart so much and keeps me praying. I hope someday to be exactly what Jesus wants for me to be and lead others to where He wants them.
